Chelsie Grau(Arlington, TX) first started dancing at the age of 3 under the direction of Janis Roeton at Arlington Dance Academy. She danced under her direction for six years before venturing off to train at various studios. She is trained in tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, and modern. In 2010 Chelsie joined the Momentum family, where she danced competitively and assisted with Children’s Classes. After graduation from Pantego Christian Academy, Chelsie attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where she studied education and dance. She was on the SFA Repertory Dance Company and a member of Dancers Against Cancer. Chelsie graduated as a University Scholar with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is certified to teach 4th - 8th grade math and 6th - 12th grade dance. Chelsie has a full time job as a middle school teacher and recently married her husband, Daniel, in April of 2019! Chelsie returned to Momentum in 2017 to teach Children’s classes and has enjoyed spending her Saturdays sharing her passion for dance with young dancers.
